How Metal Sharpener Made.?

HISTORY:
Metal Sharpener.

Before the development of dedicated pencil sharpeners, a pencil was sharpened by whittling it with a knife. Pencil sharpeners made this task much easier and gave a more uniform result.
Bernard Lassimone, a French mathematician, applied for the first patent (French patent #2444) on pencil sharpeners in 1828. In 1847, Therry des Estwaux invented an improved mechanical sharpener. The first American pencil sharpener was patented by Walter K. Foster of Bangor, Maine in 1855. Electric pencil sharpeners for offices have been made since at least 1917.

RAW MATERIALS:

   Magnesium, Steel and Screw.

MANUFACTURING:

Magnesium.
Industrial Cutter.
They take a long Magnesium metal and put inside an Industrial cutter. Since, Magnesium is cheap and light metal which is idle for the process. This Industrial cutter is specially designed which cuts each of them with an uniform size.

Then the metal piece is loaded into the next machine which does five different job at a time like creating a whole for the pencil and screw, a screw thread which holds the screw tight, a chopper which produce the space the blade and a blender which blends the sharp edges.

Now they similarly looks like sharpener but the process is not yet complete. The next process is cleaning which is done to remove the dirt and also to bring the shining for the metal, for this they put into the special basket which helps and survive since the basket is dipped into the Nitric-Acid as long as it dissolve it gets its shining. Once the Nitric-Acid bath is done, they rinsed well to remove the acidic material from it.

On the other side the Sharpener blade is prepared, for this a long Steel sheet role is placed in the roller and the sheet enters into an specially designed Industrial cuter which cuts the Steel into an perfect blade size along with screw hole. The remaining Steel sheet is rolled again and recycled for future use.

For cutting the blade they use fabricating oil so they all stick together and to remove the oil they need a bath, so they put into the acid to remove the oil and it also keeps them shining. And after they rinsed they headed into the oven, here it is been heated into 850 degree Celsius for 3 Minutes.

And once the Heating is over they need one more oil bath and here it takes an rapid cooling which makes the metal stronger and to remove the oil from the metal they put it into the Sand rinse machine which will remove the oil from the Steel.

Next is to sharpen the Steel on its correct side to do this they dropped into special machine which does the work like Human hand. It positions the blade and sorts into the string and the worker will collect them and load it into the next machine for sharpening. Next machine takes each individual blade and positions in the right place and marked side in the above right side picture is the side where the blade gets sharpened.

This is the final process. In this the blade is placed into the sharpener and the machine hand will place screw in its hole and screwed tight. Now the Pencil Metal Sharpener is ready..
